  1. There are some interesting points on this graph.

    1) Over 12 years, the population of this county has changed, but the absolute number of under 18s has not. It has always been about 750. So when the population increased by ~25% between 2000 and 2008, there were still the same number of under 18s.

    2) It is also strange how the total number registered voters has increased linearly, but the total votes cast has not significant changed in 12 years. There are a couple possible explanations, but voter fraud is not likely. If there were unlawfully registered voters, then the absolute number of votes would increase.

    3) Finally, the “active votes” data points indicate that there are three measurements per year of votes. Why are people in this county voting three times per year? This doesn’t make sense.
