BREAKING: Anti-Second Amendment Legislator’s Criminal Record Exposed

According to a Colorado Bureau of Investigations report obtained by Media Trackers, State Representative Rhonda Fields (D-Aurora) was arrested in 1976 on a charge of larceny and again in 1991 on a charge of shoplifting. Despite her own criminal record, Rep. Fields has sought to limit the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens.

An apparent mugshot of Fields was posted to the Magpul Industries Facebook page by a private user after legislation to limit gun magazine capacity, which was cosponsored by Fields, drove the company to announce that it was closing its doors in Colorado and moving out of state.

Rep. Fields has sponsored multiple gun control bills currently under debate in the Colorado Legislature, including legislation to ban on magazines with the capacity to hold more that 15 rounds, criminalize the private sale or transfer of a firearm without a background check,ban on concealed carry permits on the college campuses, and increase background check fees.
Fields has also co-sponsored Sen. Evie Hudak’s legislation which would not only strip anyone subject to a restraining order of their Second Amendment rights, but would also require the same to relinquish any firearms they own to the state.

Sen. Hudak has recently been in the national spotlight for remarks she made to rape survivor Amanda Collins. During testimony from Collins which detailed how her attacker was able to target her while she was unarmed due to a campus ban on concealed carry in Nevada, Hudak told Collins that “actually statistics are not on your side even if you had a gun.”

Additionally, Fields was the sole sponsor in the House to sign on to Sen. John Morse’s (D-Colorado Springs) legislation to institute civil liability on firearms manufacturers, sellers, and owner for any damage incurred through the use of their firearms.

Despite her criminal history, Rep. Fields has previously received campaign donations from the Aurora Police Association.

Media Trackers attempted to contact Fields at her office multiple times, but the Representative was unavailable for comment as the calls were unanswered.

    Well isn’t this interesting??? I’m sure she did NOT want this to go viral. A criminal whom is now a legislator, preaching to the gun owners whom abide by the Law!!

      Too late. I am posting this all over the damn place along with the information about Evie Hudak getting big contributions from New York and being from New York. I want Obama to tell us again how he is not a dictator since the Democrats appear to be placing people in our state and helping them get elected then influencing our state elections with god knows what kind of threats or bribery. In any case I would recall both of them for not representing the voters and for not being forthcoming about who they are. Typical behavior from the Thug in the White House.

      How about reporting the whole truth? I don’t believe she is trying to disarm “law abiding” citizens however, I believe she is a participant in creating more unenforceable laws in a vain attempt to mollify Americans who “want something done” instead of something meaningful…..like mental health care for 12-24 years old males who tend to commit these crimes. . Bringing up her 16-18 year old past does the same thing dumb laws do……nothing to help the real problem.

    How can a criminal be elected to high office? She seems not to be on a woman’s side at all. Women should just submit? They should be trained, armed, and ready to use a gun to protect themselves.

    Rapists deserve no mercy. Women have a right to
    Protect themselves from a violent and degrading crime which kills many. I am a MAN and I say “shoot ” rapists. They are NOT human.

    Colorado is rapidly becoming as much of a liberal mess and slum as California. Its state government has become fatally infected with the germ of socialism, and before long they’re going to be another New York state as well. Its a sad state of affairs, but I said it once and I’ll say it again: Colorado residents cannot blame anyone but themselves for the downward spiral of their state. THEY are the ones who voted in the liberals.

      I transferred to Colorado from a midwest state in 1997. As I researched before the move, the most prominent statement from many residents was that Colorado and the people are beautiful, but the Californians that are relocating to there are ruining it.

    She is truly the face of the anti-gun problems we face in this great country today.They want the average citizen to lose our rights but I would bet she has security around her at all times and I’m sure they are armed.We need the 2nd amendment to protect our loved ones from criminals like her.       You are correct. It’s not Coloradoans who are doing this; it’s all the transplanted liberals from other states who have infested the population centers along the I-25 corridor that out-vote the rest of the state. But there are pockets of conservatives all over who are not just lying down.

    Ms Fields feels this is necessary because she lost her son and future daughter in law to gun violence. What if her son had a weapon when he was confronted by his killer? He was a nice kid as far as I remember, and was not a gang banger. Why does she think that by taking guns from law abiding citizens the situation in her hood will get any better?? Won’t happen and in fact WILL get a whole lot worse than it already is!

    WTF, when I first saw this I thought it was the witch in Florida with her anger mgmt for ammo purchase law. Now I see she’s from here in CO. and representing my area personally. After reading this I think she’s probably wanting to limit guns so her criminal family and friends can safely rob us. What a crock. How can she even legally serve in government?

    I can not believe this…I am truly Speechless!!! How does a woman like this have any say on how law abiding citizens should live and protect their families! I am truly horrified! I am 42 years old and over the years I have disagreed with many politicians but I have never truly been afraid of what the future holds for out great country until now! We all must stand up and show those that are supposed to work for us that we expect them to do just that!! Our country is falling apart around us. I am afraid for mine!

    My great-father and uncle came to Colorado 1860 pioneered and settled all S/E & S/W Colorado.James A. McCandless served 3 terms Colorado House/ 1 term Colorado Senate beginning 1867. Helped craft the constitution of the state.     How about reporting what inspired Rhonda Fields to change her life? to become a representative? I am anti-gun control legislation but I would never smear another person to further my cause like your site did. Her son and his new fiance were slaughtered because they were going to testify against a murder suspect. She’s received threats from nut cases that they are going to kill her and her remaining child. So she got busted for shoplifting/larceny 16-18 years ago…what did you do in your twenties and/or teenage years? You wish you were as good as Fox News.

    RHONDA has a problem..being she preprints my city”AURORA” i think it is safe to say “SHES DONE” next election. i dont want some one with a criminal history speaking for me.
